London, UK, 9th May 2018 - Validata announces the new release 9.5 of its unified DevTestOps platform for Temenos apps, which includes automation enhancements and new features to significantly accelerate the delivery of digital testing.
The new release has been designed to deliver agility @ scale and accelerate digital transformation initiatives, with:
- Extended test automation for Temenos Wealthsuite: It automates your Temenos WealthSuite Web functional testing and is able to deliver End to End automated testing validating all the integrations between WealthSuite and Core Banking application. The enhanced centralized repository enables automation on data flows for validating the transactions and their lifecycle end to end. Leveraging all these latest technology innovations, Bank of Singapore, are able to accelerate end-to-end automated testing for their TemenosCore Banking and WealthSuite apps, as well as a number of other interfaces including, Apollo, FinIQ, Pega, CPOMS, MarginMan.
- Test Automation for R18 and US Model Bank: Validata is the first to support end-to-end automated testing for Temenos R18 and the US Model Bank. Commerce bank, US, are implementing Validata technologies for their core banking transformation project on US Model Bank customized version.
- Support for TAM & Core Updates release management: Validata is now able to fully automate the import and release management of Temenos TAM and Core Updates, by automating not just the actual release but the pre and post release actions such us stop or clear services.
This enables our clients to properly manage all the components that need to be deployed in their environments in an automated manner, without the need of any manual intervention even on pre and post deployment actions, and have centralized reporting and seamless integration with testing, being able to automatically perform Continuous Testing and Monitoring against changes and ensure system stability and correctness. -
Powerful DevTestOps integration: Validata enables integration between the Development, Release and Testing, and has the ability to automate the User workflows and the actual Regression testing activity:
- Alert mechanism, highlighting the impact on the business areas and if new test cases need to be created or executed based on the Software CRs
- Automated identification of the regression test pack based on each release sprint specifics
- Automated identification of the Test environment for the regression tests execution based on the Release Sprint process.
- Utilization of multiple parallel environments – SIT/UAT/DEV/TEST
- Extended application package support for Pega, FinIQ, MarginMan: Validata now features seamless integration with Pega, FinIQ and MarginMan systems, enabling the creation of risk-based automated test scenarios for end-to-end testing from back to front end of the bank’s business processes ensuring maximum test coverage.
- Support for Temenos UXP and Temenos APIs – Full support of the Temenos UXP and connections with TAFJ, SOAP,REST and OData. This technology is already being used at New York Venture Bank where Validata has been selected to support their Temenos Core Banking implementation project.
- Simplified ETL testing: New functionality for simplified Quantitative testing, with the ability to reconcile the data between the loading file or source and the target system through CSV or Database adapters. This functionality accelerates the migration testing, independently from the migration process or any tools used already by the bank.
- Strong PDF Reports testing: The new release has been enhanced to include automated testing of reports and other PDFs comparing pre and post version of such documents with detailed response report with full comparison and identification on missing items or mismatches down to the values level.
- Enhanced COB Automation functionalities: The new release is extended to support multiple COBs against multiple environments though one COB automation agent, with advanced custom actions for Pre and Post COB actions and checks. It also has the ability of conditional execution, as well as its own SQL repository where data are getting stored and reports can be generated.
- Testing in production: Support for testing in production, to see how your system is really performing with real users, real requests, and real data. Validata is able to find live issues, provide predictive analytics and recommend bug fixes which impact business performance.

- Seamless Jira Integration: Validata seamlessly integrates with Jira and allows for continuous retrieval of issues, tasks and other data from JIRA to Validata. It creates an original snapshot of the Jira issues in .CSV and then based on built-in unique identifiers it consolidates the information and picks up deltas /changes since the last retrieval.
