WE ARE DEDICATED TO REDUCING OUR DIGITAL FOOTPRINT
Our Commitment

At Validata Group, our people are our biggest asset. Our team shows its ongoing commitment not only in the workplace but also into having a positive impact on the communities where our employees live and work.

We also collaborate with various actors in order to achieve our core values that aim in providing sustainability and environmental consciousness for the global community.

We engage in different activities as part of our corporate social responsibility programme by supporting worthwhile causes, such as educational and training programmes, health promotion campaigns, and wildlife protection activities.

We have given aid to wildfire victims, and we have made donations to relieve populations during emergency situations. We love running, especially for a cause, and that’s why we traditionally take part in the Athens Authentic Marathon, supporting its charitable giving.

Our offices have become more sustainability-friendly: we minimised the amount of paper waste; we strongly encourage employees to recycle (instead of simply throwing away); we switched from incandescent light bulbs to energy-saving LED bulbs; and we offer remote work options to reduce air pollution due to traffic caused by the daily commute to the office.
Environmental awareness and sustainability
The earth’s environment is under severe stress from uncontrolled human activity, threatening the survival of our society.
At Validata Group, we aspire to minimise our impact on our environment and to maximise the effective use of resources. We strive to achieve this by increasing communication and raising awareness of our continuous efforts and by fostering responsible environmental behaviour amongst employees, volunteers, and users at all levels.
Our aim is to integrate a philosophy of sustainable development into all the organisation’s activities and to establish and promote sound environmental practices in our operations.
To achieve this, we are constantly minimising risks and impact through the development of robust and documented systems to implement, measure, monitor, and disseminate excellent environmental performance both within our operations and to the broader community.

Environmentally sustainable culture, conserving natural resources by reusing/recycling.
Responsible use of power throughout the organisation.

Providing a safe and healthful workplace for our employees.
Supporting partners and causes working to increase access to nutritious foods, mental and physical health to people in need.

Enhancing awareness among our employees – educating and motivating them to act in an environmentally responsible manner.
Reduce the company’s carbon footprint through telecommuting, virtual meetings, and remote work.
Shaping a Sustainable Future
Whilst not all cloud-based technologies are powered using renewable energy, they are a far better alternative to a local data centre, making them the greenest, cleanest and most efficient way to operate your server and IT systems.
Cloud sustainability helps organisations lower their carbon footprint. This will not only benefit the environment, but it will also be a far better system to use than a local data centre.
Validata Group has already modernised its technology to further contribute in this eco-friendly mission, by making our platform accessible for our customers through the Cloud using cutting edge technologies and environmentally sustainable techniques.
How?
- By reducing energy consumption
- By making use of renewable energy sources
- By using virtualisation to contribute positively to environmental sustainability
- By decreasing Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG)
- By improving resource allocation
- By dematerialisation
- By ensuring peak performance without wasting energy on in-house resources
- By paperless cloud storage
- By using technology solutions to reduce our digital footprint
Technological solutions for advancing ESG:
Providing High-Quality Software, Optimising Incident Response, and Embracing the Cloud
High-quality software isn’t simply a product; it is an opportunity to reduce waste. Adoption of DevOps practices allows us to minimise defects, streamline processes and reduce our resource footprint. This has a measurable impact on operational efficiency and energy usage.
Identifying and resolving defects at an early stage in the software lifecycle significantly reduces the resources required for subsequent rework. Traditional methods of catching bugs late – during staging or production – often result in complex fixes that consume more compute power, developer time, and infrastructure.
By automating regression testing and continuously validating code, we can enable continuous delivery while reducing the carbon footprint of the infrastructure supporting these tests.
