Why did Validata invest in building Validata Sense.ai Explorer and how is it different from other recording solutions?

Many clients that had been doing manual testing for years, found it difficult to switch from manual to full automation just like that. We designed the Explorer as a standalone application, so easy to use, so that manual testers with no previous experience in test automation, as well as Temenos business users can record their business processes and then instantly convert them into end-to-end automated test cases.

The main differentiator from other recording solutions is that it is able to automatically generate not just test cases and data, but complete end user workflows and step-by-step videos that can be used as training material and onboarding of new members.

Can you give an example of a use case for the Explorer?

The main use case at the moment is test automation for Temenos apps. Temenos business users are now able to record test automation workflows linked to their business processes and create end-to-end test cases without the need of an automation engineer. All user actions on screen are recorded and captured as test steps.

Also all the knowledge and experience that is not documented and only resides in someone’s mind, now becomes part of a training set with End to End workflows, videos and documents that enables banks to have control of all the information and use it not only for training and onboarding but also for making this intelligence and asset accessible to everyone.

It is integrated on the Validata Sense.ai platform and together all tools are working to optimize business risk and test coverage and accelerate digital testing.
