Banque Libano-Francaise goes live with Validata for Release Automation

London, UK , 5th February 2017 - Validata Group, the leader in Enterprise Software Testing and Analytics, is pleased to announce a successful go-live for Banque Libano-Francaise (BLF) a leading Lebanese institution, which has deployed Validata ABC in an effort to accelerate the delivery of the development and shorten the quality control and release phases of their T24 projects and improve the quality of the overall deliverables.

Operating through a network of 56 branches and 157 ATMs in Lebanon, as well as footprint in other countries, the Bank has taken a strategic initiative to deploy the Validata ABC solution. Validata ABC was integrated with the bank’s existing system IBM Clearquest, in an effort to protect their previous investments and keep track of the existing workflows. The Bank initiated the first automated development and release management project with Validata ABC for their Iraq branche, and has successfully gone live.

Validata ABC is an agile end-to-end continuous delivery platform and has been designed to address the complexity and constant changes in Application Development without a large team of developers to support it.

It makes it possible through reliable, low-risk releases, to continuously adapt software in line with user feedback, shifts in the market and changes to business strategy. QA and DevOps can work together as one delivery team to automate and streamline the build, test and release process. It facilitates deployment of new versions, new releases and features more efficiently by automating execution of tasks which are tedious and error prone to perform manually.

The tool decreases the risks of application development, ensuring clients meet their auditing requirements with end-to-end traceability, access and version control. When software development processes are automated, they are repeatable, reliable and can be run as frequently as available computing resources allow. Therefore, developers and testers can now focus on the areas where they add real value to a project—developing and testing new code and features—instead of worrying about the underlying development infrastructure issues.

Ghassan Sawaya, Head of IT at Banque Libano-Francaise commented, “We have chosen Validata in an effort to optimize project delivery, achieve repeatable business outcomes and improve time to value. The tool streamlines the release, development and deployment process for our projects teams, offering easier and more efficient use. Validata’s superior technology, domain expertise, tight integration with T24 and their commitment to innovative and forward thinking, made them the obvious choice for us. We have now achieved the following strategic benefits: faster releases, code tracking and re-usability, code safety. We are able to take the customer satisfaction to even a higher level, which is essential to our success.”

Vaios Vaitsis, Founder and CEO of Validata Group added, “We are delighted to work with BLF and to help them deliver real, measurable return on their IT investments, accelerate application delivery, have visibility across different projects and into the work of distributed teams. It was pleasing to see that we have been recognized for the value that our products and services can bring to their projects. With Validata ABC, we can reduce the efforts in deploying changes by half, delivering software 25% faster.”
