Fund Accounting Specialist

This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• NAV calculation for daily, weekly and monthly funds and performing reconciliation with back office
• Prepare a variety of reports to assist month to end closings
• Prepare and analyse journal entries and reconcile/ verify accounts
• Performing valuation of Fund’s assets
• Analysis, processing and control of financial products: equities, hedge funds, derivatives (CFDs, Swaps, Forwards, Futures), bonds
• Preparation of annual financial statements including notes under relevant accounting standards
• Custody reconciliation and control of the Fund’s assets
• Liaising with funds prime brokers
• Manage cash flow and liquidity for investment funds.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CFA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in fund accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with investment funds and financial instruments.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent oral and written English.
