Deputy CEO and GM of the Bank
The bank selected Temenos Core Banking as their system and embarked on an enterprise‐wide transformation program codenamed ’DNA’. The new IT platform would in essence become the DNA of the bank, fundamental to the way that the bank would operate.
The bank opted for Validata’s automated solutions – Quality and Legacy Migration Suites – to migrate from their legacy system Bank2000 to Temenos R12, and seeing the value that these offer to their core banking transformation program, took a strategic decision to further extend the provision of expert services, adapting a managed services model to support their operations.
To successfully implement Temenos T24 with AA a significant amount of data needed to be converted and migrated from legacy system Bank2000 and satellite systems Eximbills, Sungard and Ibank, to the new T24 system.
Proper methodology, efficient automation tool and strong change governance were all required to successfully deliver on such large project.
This was the first implementation of T24 AA with TAFJ.
The Bank followed Validata’s proven migration approach, successfully deployed on a number of T24 sites already, where Validata through its flagship solution delivered a full migration of JAB’s static and transactional data, including data cleansing, financial reconciliation and consolidation of data in Bank2000 from all branches.
Validata ATS was employed for functional and integration testing .Validata’s rich library of reusable test assets was a big plus for the project as it could easily be extended with JAB’s specific
customizations.
