Business Need
The bank having previously selected HP QTP as their testing tool, turned to Validata to assist in overcoming the challenges they were facing in completing their upgrade from R7 to the R14 release across 4 locations.
The bank was searching for a solution that would offer an End‐to‐End automated testing framework with Requirements Management and Defect Management integrated in the solution, as well as Performance testing and tight integration with Temenos T24. The project had different specifications and testing needs for each location.
Solution
Validata solutions (Validata ATS, ABC Performance Tester and V‐Conn) were chosen as the preferred solutions for automated regression testing, performance testing, release automation and financial reconciliation between R7 and R14 after an exhaustive process, including a detailed proof of concept on a selective scope, onsite the bank’s premises. Validata was chosen to ensure the quality of deliverables, reduce the timelines for regression testing and reduce the Total Cost of Ownership of automation.
