Business Need
Having started its journey towards modernizing its technology systems, the bank recognized that having a strong partner with extensive knowledge and domain expertise in the Temenos market would be the key to securing the successful delivery of the project. Validata was chosen following an in-depth RFP and evaluation process, to support ASB in their transformation initiatives, migration and testing from Cobis to Temenos Transact as well as testing of Temenos WealthSuite. The project is a multi-country roll out with different specifications and testing needs for each location, with Panama being the first site to go-live, followed by Miami.
Solutions
Through an exhaustive RFP process, the bank selected Validata and EY as partners, to assist in the data migration from the legacy system and in end-to-end test automation of the new Temenos system, (Gallard Transformation Project). Validata’s dynamic DataOps platform, ConnectIQ was employed for the migration from the locally installed legacy core banking system to Temenos Transact core banking in the cloud. Validata tools were used to bridge this connection gap and successfully migrated all encrypted data from source with full blown transformation and loading to the new Temenos cloud, including migration testing through migration and reconciliation reports. In scope was also functional, SIT, performance and UAT testing covering the complete end-to-end processes of the bank in the cloud.
