Business Need
The bank decided to implement Temenos T24 for their banking operations in Mexico. They were facing challenges:
- Small volumes but complex products
- Extensive AA usage
- Constant environment and business changes during the migration
- infrastructure and system performance limitation. Main observations had to do with the responsiveness of the browser which was timing out too often. The root causes were multiple and resolution included among others Webshpere patching, T24 packs installations and network quality upgrades.

Solution
Validata solutions (Validata Test Automation, Performance Tester and V‐Conn) were chosen as the preferred solutions for the migration and testing activities of the core banking transformation. Validata provided a Managed Service model to BTMUM using our Test Factory model.
This included the development of the testing strategy, analysis of existing environment usage (covering existing and new functionality), deployment of the testing team using an onshore/offshore model, development of BTMUM automated and manual test cases for Functional, SIT, Migration and User Acceptance Testing, test planning and execution, defect/change management and continuous progress/management reporting.
